Signs have gone up for a new restaurant in Wichita called Chick’N Pop. The restaurant I’m told (along with the sign blatantly saying it) will specialize in chicken sandwiches and boba tea, both of which have really picked up steam in town.
It’ll take over the former Chicago Donut space at 3233 E. Harry. Construction and progress on the new restaurant has been slow, but that’s been the case with any opening.
Sources tell me that Chick’N Pop should be open this summer. As we all know, that could mean anything when you consider everything hoop and hurdle one must pass to get the open light on.
Signs are now up on the building, so that’s at least one more hurdle crossed. When I hear more information, I’ll be sure to pass it on.
