Let’s review Wingstop!
Wingstop is a national chicken wing chain that was founded in Garland, TX in 1994. They started franchising in 1997 and now have over 1,250 locations across the United States, Mexico, Colombia, Panama, Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, UK and the United Arab Emirates.
There are three locations in Wichita at 7324 W. Taft St., 2095 W. 21st St., and the one we visited for this review at 2548 S. Seneca St.
The Wingstop menu consist mostly of boneless and bone-in wings, sauces, and sides. The kids had a request for Wingstop, so I figured this would give me a reason to check out one of their newest locations.
The kids prefer boneless wings, which I’m not too fond of, but gave in because it was their choice. Wingstop had two different specials going on. Twenty boneless wings for $15.99 and 16 wings and 6 tenders for $23.99. We ordered an assortment of different flavors and sides like seasoned fries and Cajun fried corn.
The kids, for the most part, enjoyed the wings. I found them to be quite soggy. Our fries weren’t seasoned at all, and they left out all of our Cajun fried corn. We tried to call to go back and get them, but they didn’t answer. And an email sent over to their website for order issues did not receive a response of any sort.
My experience with Wingstop was very lackluster, partly due to missing food, soggy wings, and bland fries. Next time the kids ask for Wingstop, I’m going to try to talk them into somewhere else.
Happy Dining,
Eddy

We had a similar experience at the South Seneca location. If we decide on WingStop, we go out our way to go to the Taft location.
