Wichita saw a couple more restaurant closings this past month. Let’s get to it.
Taco Locale – 2721 E Central Ave
The taco restaurant located at Revolutsia and has had pop-ups all over town including the Old Town Farm and Art Market closed as of this weekend. With the owners moving to Texas, they made the decision to close the restaurant for good.
I’ll always remember my first time trying out their tacos. It was instant love and then not too long after that, I was part of a judging panel that awarded them best taco at Taco Fest.
Ourrs Family Dining – 1606 S Georgetown St.
The all-you-can-eat buffet that took over the Furr’s Family Dining space is now closed, citing increased food cost.
And lastly, not so much a restaurant, but a home-based business found on DoorDash called Chloë’s Kitchen appears to be out of business. They served ramen, salad, and other random dishes. Their listing has been taken down from the delivery service. The business caught a lot of attention for posting pictures of their food using photos with cigarettes ashtrays in the background, and photos that were found elsewhere on the internet.
