Our Dining by the Children’s Alphabet feature continues on with Letter F. For this visit, my daughter requested “sghetti”. Kids these days use all sorts of different slang, but I was raised to called it “spaghetti”. We tried to stop by a couple of other places, and they were either booked or closed. So, we ended up going to Fazoli’s located at 8520 W. Central.
It wasn’t our first choice, but it did the trick. It’s rare my daughter will request something out of the blue so I wanted to make sure she got her wish.
The kids meals at Fazoli’s were all $4.99 and included your choice of pasta (spaghetti, ravioli, penne, or fettuccine) or a pizza slice. All meals came with breadsticks and apple juice or milk.
I gave her the options and she immediately went with “sghetti”. My spoiled daughter gets what she wants, so “sghetti” was the order.
I’m not sure if it was because of the holiday season, but she was in such great spirits.
Even better when these little babies came out….
She may have had four or five forkfuls of spaghetti, but once the breadsticks came out, that’s all she could focus on. I think she had three of them, but I’m in no position to say anything because so did I. We made the walk of shame to the front counter and asked for more breadsticks despite our full plates of food.
They brought us six more and she was over the moon. There was dancing, singing, some Stevie Wonder head nods, basically she was living her best life. It’s all in the video below.
Once again, Letter F was a very successful stop. She may have ended her happy plate streak, but was the happiest she’s ever been on this dining journey with her dad. My heart and stomach were definitely full.
