The newest Sbarro has opened inside the 37th and Maize Kwik Shop at 3750 N. Maize Road. It’s the latest location for the national pizza chain that is being placed into Kwik Shops all over the city.
If you’ve never been, Sbarro is a chain that used to be located inside the mall. They serve New York style pizza by the slice, whole pizzas, Stromboli, wings, breadsticks, and breakfast versions of the options listed.
I’m not sure if prices are higher just at this location. I visited the 21st and Oliver location in December and pizza by the slice prices were 20 cents cheaper. Something to keep in mind for those that like to count their pennies.
They had an opening day special of two slices for $6 so I had a supreme and a pepperoni. This is regularly $8.99 and comes with a drink. It wasn’t anything special, but for $6 I was satisfied. More times than not, you just need to temper expectations and realize you’re going here for affordability and convenience than anything else.
Here’s the menu. Please note, I did accidentally forget to take a picture of the pizza by the slice prices. Those are as follows:
- Cheese: $3.79
- Pepperoni: $4.29
- Specialty: $4.29
A Stromboli is $5.99 for a 6” individual and $18.99 for a 24” XL.
Happy Dining,
Eddy
