Long-time Wichita restaurants have been closing left and right. Earlier this month it was Angela’s Cafe and now the latest is Classic Town & Country.
The restaurant who recently moved to 2315 W 21st St. in the past year has had an interesting run. While most people know the original Town & Country on West Kellogg, this was an iteration of the restaurant that opened following the passing of T&C’s owner, Larry Conover.
Classic Town & Country was kind of the spin-off that originally opened at K-42 and Maize Road before they made the move to their current location.
Early last week, they made a social media post that they would be closing until they could get more staff. A couple of days later, they changed course and decided to close the restaurant for good.
