Delicious $3.50 burritos from Burritos Eben-Ezer

Burritos Eben-Ezer

On a random drive down Meridian to see if there were any new restaurants in the area, I randomly came across a food truck called Burritos Eben-Ezer. It was a big bright yellow truck parked in front of what looked like an abandoned garage at the southeast corner of Meridian and Merton St.

The first thing I saw on the menu was a $3.50 lunch burrito. That looked right up my alley. It came with my choice of protein and I chose the chicharron verde.

About 5 minutes later, this is what I received. It was roughly the size of a bottled water.

My burrito came with two salsa containers. After taking one bite of the burrito, though, I completely forgot about the salsas. This meal didn’t need a single drop.

My burrito was stuffed with chicharron, beans, and rice. They asked if I wanted cheese, but I passed.

This $3.50 burrito was the perfect lunch meal. Every so often, I don’t need a huge, hefty burrito the size of my thigh over lunch. In theory, it sounds cool but it’s just far too much food. Burritos Eben-Ezer had theirs at the right size; not too big or small; satisfying enough to get me through the day.

I’ll have to return in the morning to check out their $2.99 breakfast burritos.
