So you want to participate in Dine Out Wichita 2020? FANTASTIC! This event will not only promote dining out in Wichita but will have any proceeds going directly to United Way!
It’s going to be a great way to promote your restaurant and hopefully get additional foot traffic into those doors. At the same time, you’re going to help many local charities! The event takes place from January 6 – 30. Any restaurant in the Wichita area can join, it’s not limited to just Wichita. Here’s the important details you will probably want to know.
1.) To participate in Dine Out Wichita, it cost $100-150 which is a tax deductible donation to United Way. You can make your donation on United Way’s Dine Out Wichita Registration Page.
2.) Restaurants are asked to come up with a discounted meal that will attract diners. Some examples include: half-price burgers, a percentage off of a popular dish, $1 – $2 menu items like tacos or wings, three or four course meal set at a lower price point, free appetizers with meal purchase, buy one get one free, etc. You can even use current specials you have going on and extend it to different days
3.) While the event is a month long, restaurants will only participate for anywhere from 2-5 days or more if they choose. You choose the days or the specific week. It’s your choice. We want to spread the love around to different restaurants over the course of the month.
4) To give United Way’s marketing department ample time to prepare signage, we ask all participants register by December 20. Any sign ups past that day could mean your business name may be left off of any promotional print material.
