We are almost there, Project Best Wichita Burger is now two weeks away from reaching the end point. will be coming to close. I must admit, I cannot wait for that day to come.

| The End Point Is Near! |
It’s reached the point where one of the first topics of discussions with friends is “What’s your favorite burger so far?” or “What has ranked low on your list?” It’s as if all my friends think my life is currently consumed by this burger project and it’s probably because my life has consumed so many burgers lately.
This week I cranked out three different burger establishments and watched a few of my friends try to complete The Pounda Burger Challenge at Jack’s North Hi Carryout – a definite must read for anybody into food challenges.
With those three burgers this past week, that puts my expected total of burgers by the end of this project at 29. I have four burgers left that I surely want to hit up with a fifth one I keep going back and forth on whether I want to even bother going there.
After that, July 1 hits and that’s when the real fun begins with releasing the list of the Top Burgers in the Wichita area. Yes, the keyword being Wichita area. At this point, I have now stopped by nearly all area burger places worth going to that are within a 30 minute drive from my house.
I’m looking forward to these final two weeks which will also include a return visit to Jack’s North Hi Carryout where one of my friends will be sure to break the record there.

I just stumbled across your blog, and I must say – since I am moving to Wichita with my family in a month, I am more excited than ever to try all of the delicious foods on your blog! Personally, I am most excited for you to finish your "Project Best Wichita Burger," especially since that is one of our favorite foods to grill at the family barbecues we have every Sunday.
Aside from your quest to find the best burger in Wichita, your blog is definitely going to be where I check first before I make any reservations in Wichita . It seems like you have already checked all of the venues off the list and your reviews are spot on – so keep 'em comin'!
