Honestly, it’s one of the best values for a buffet that’s included Prime Rib I’ve seen. On my adventure out to the Hereford House, I was accompanied by Cylee and her parents. Cylee was overjoyed from the start of her visit as staff from the Country Club drove her up to the entrance in a golf cart.
From there, we were seated and went straight to work.
If you’re ready for a picture overload of the brunch, here goes nothing:
We each had a couple trips trying out different things and the runaway favorite from everybody was the chicken alfredo. Between the sauce and the delicious chicken, it was easily everybody’s go to on every visit. The prime rib was also excellent. I had a fantastic cut that was close to medium rare and very tender. Everybody loved the fruit spread they had; all very fresh and tasty. Probably the worst item on the buffet was the salmon. It was very very very dry and looked as if it had been sitting out for a while untouched. Everything else though was still very good and liked by all.
Cylee stuck to mostly breakfast and really didn’t have much but she also wasn’t charged. The server asked her age so I’m not sure at what age they start charging children.
The desserts were fantastic. The favorite by everybody was the pound cake with whipped cream and strawberries. I can close my eyes and vividly remember the whole dessert experience.
Overall, opinions were all very positive. Cylee’s mother is usually pretty hard to impress when it comes to restaurant and came away happy and mentioned that she would go again. At $16.95 for adults, it’s a fantastic value that’s hard to pass up for a quality brunch.
The service and cleanliness of the restaurant were all top notch. This is certainly a Brunch I will be attending again in the near future.
I’ve heard the steaks at the Hereford House are wonderful so I may also have to make a return visit for another day outside of Sunday as well. Who’s game?
Happy Dining!
