Quick Hits 11/20/15: Special Olympics Sports Memorabilia Auction

Marcus Allen

If you’re into Sports Memorabilia, there’s one event you should put on your calendar for this weekend.

That’s the 23rd Annual Sports Memorabilia Auction which benefits the Special Olympics of Kansas. It’s one of their largest fundraisers of the year that goes to benefits some of the best athletes in our state; a truly wonderful organization.

Two special guests, Marcus Allen and Cheese Johnson will be on hand from 4:30 – 6:30 pm to sign photos, jerseys, footballs, basketballs, whatever you would like for them to sign.

There are literally hundreds of silent and live auction items ranging from all sorts of memorabilia from as many sports as you can come up with.

I’ve gone before and it’s crazy the amount of items they have on hand that are donated and gathered solely for the Special Olympics.

This event is on November 21st at the Cessna Activity Center. The auction starts around 6:30 pm and ends when the last live auction item is sold.
