Yokohama Ramen Joint to Open April 24 – Try It Earlier Courtesy of Wichita By E.B.

Last month, we had an article up about Yokohama Ramen Joint opening up soon in Wichita. Now many times when a restaurant announces they are coming soon to town that usually means months and sometimes over a year.

Well I had the chance to speak with Jack Fukuda this afternoon and he confirmed they are indeed having their Grand Opening on April 24th…….just in time for my birthday? Coincidence…… my stomach doesn’t think so.

We have a couple exclusives one of which is their welcome sign which includes translations from about 30 different countries. It’s a pretty cool site to see:

The variety of Yokohama Ramen Join’s main dish “Ramen” is reflected in their “Welcome Sign”.

Not only do they have original pork-base broth, but they also have pork-free broth, chicken broth, vegetarian and vegan broth. After that you’ll have the option of original Ramen noodles or Gluten-free noodles  to match any broth you want.

They wanted to insure everyone from any religion, any type specific health or eating needs could be served an enjoy the goodness that is to come of Yokohama Ramen Joint. On top of that, the highlight of their dessert menu is their Original Cream Puff that is made from scratch from Beard Papa’s located in Towne East Mall……something I actually had with my niece the other week. She gives them two thumbs up. They also have a signature “Annin Tofu” which is the most popular dessert in every Ramen shop in Japan. Admittedly, I have never had them before and hope to do so at their Pre-Opening Event.

Wait…..did I say Pre-Opening Event? Yes I did and you may be able to attend as well. Thanks to Yokohama Ramen Joint, we are giving away two tickets to their Pre-Opening Event. All you have to do to get a chance is to head to our Facebook Page, Like Us and Share the Yokohama Story we’ve posted on there to your friends. We will choose one lucky winner to bring their friend to the Pre-Opening Event which is sure to be a delicious time.

As a refresher, Yokohama Ramen Joint is located at 613 W Douglas in Delano which is already full of great restaurants. Don’t worry about parking issues. There’s street parking on the S Oak St & Douglas Avenue. Jack also mentions they are so blessed that there’s about 500 Free Parking Spaces in-between the Monarch and Lawrence-Dumont Stadium!

They will be open 7 days a week. 11am-8pm from Sunday to Thur, 11am-9pm for Friday & Saturday.

That does it from here. Be sure head to our Facebook page at www.facebook.com/wichitabyeb for your chance to attend their Pre-Opening!

Happy Dining!
