Thanks for stopping by! From the start every blog, expense to keep the site up has been a one man job. Readership has grown over the years which has increased the cost to maintain the site. Providing Wichita with a great free resource to highlight businesses and restaurants has been a lot of fun.

Aside from working my 8-5 job and raising a family, this has mostly been a full-time hobby that’s extremely time-consuming and costly but still a joy to do. If you would like to help support the site in anyway, your patronage would be greatly appreciated.

While the budget at Wichita By E.B. is extremely low, I’d like to give small tokens of appreciation:

My slow travels around town to knock out every Sunday Brunch continues on with the most recent addition to Wichita: Soul Sisters Fusion.

Soul Sisters Fusion serves breakfast and lunch with a Southwestern twist. Their Sunday brunch is from 10am to 2pm and runs $12 a person.

A few friends and I stopped by recently to get our brunch on and check out Wichita’s newest brunch stop.

Here’s a visual list of everything we tried:

The Sunday we went, the crowd was busy. At times there would be a big rush towards the food but Soul Sisters Fusion did a great job of continuing to refill each item. There were no major lapses where one item was completely out for long periods of time.

Many of the familiar basics found at other Sunday Brunches could be found there waffles, biscuits and gravy, eggs, bacon, etc. There were also so omissions regular brunchers may be missing like prime rib, toast and most importantly a big fruit selection. The lack of fruit was probably the only real glaring comment shared by my friends.

As for the positives, the Tamales with the Green Chile were an excellent addition that was unique to Soul Sisters Fusion. That was the overwhelming favorite of everybody in the group and the best value of everything on the buffet line.

Everybody enjoyed their brunch. There really wasn’t any item on there that a single person disliked. They did your basic breakfast staples well. It also helped the service was fast and friendly.

At $12, it was the cheapest brunch in town. While the selection isn’t as vast as many of the other options in Wichita, you’re still given quality food at a quality price. One drawback is if you’re going for drinks like Mimosas, they do not serve liquor.

This is one place we would certainly recommend to all the readers.
