I come from a family of seafood eaters. We eat it religiously. With a new season upon it, it dawned on me that my brother and sister-in-law have never been to Bonefish Grill before. And with the new season comes a new seasonal fall menu.
Many members of my family and I headed out to the Waterfront at 10250 E 13th St N with our reservations made and ready to dine.
With a full family load together, we were able to try many items off of their menu. Here’s a look:

While there were so many delicious dishes served for dinner that evening, the big winner and favorite among us all was the Wild Snapper & Shrimp. It’s a wood-grilled fresh Snapper with a soft blackening spice, three jumbo seasoned shrimp and finished with a warm chorizo “mojo” sauce, served with jasmine rice & French green beans. That chorizo “mojo” sauce was a thing of beauty and tasted even better than what it sounds like.
It was our first time trying out the Cedar Plank Steelhead and it had a milder taste than salmon while keeping that same cedar plank flavor one has come to expect from their cedar plank dishes.
My brother went with the Swordfish and Pumpkin Ravioli. It was his first time with swordfish and he was throughly happy with it.
The biggest surprise was the Crispy Oysters. We weren’t sure what to expect. While we love a good raw oyster, these tempura-style oysters proved to be a hit for everyone. One family member went as far to say as “This is actually better than the Bang Bang Shrimp” which is high praise already.
And dinner wouldn’t be complete without dessert. In the true sense of fall, we went with the Pumpkin Crème Brûlée. With a small hint of cinnamon and nutmeg, it tasted like pumpkin pie with whipped cream on top. I’m a HUGE fan of pumpkin pie and this was exactly what I needed to call it an evening.
As fans of Bonefish Grill, we walked away pleased yet again. For those looking to save a little money, they also have a 2 for $55 meal that includes Bang Bang Shrimp, two entrees and one dessert. It’s an excellent value.
Check out the new fall menu soon while you can. You’ll be glad you did!
Happy Dining,
Eddy
