Tyler Pointe is about ready to explode. With the recent opening of Bagel Haus and the news of VietNom Nom coming soon, another restaurant is about ready to make their way to the new 13th and Tyler development.
According to their Facebook page, Hurricane Sports Grill & Wings is set to open in less than 30 days. West-siders should be happy to know there’s an influx of new restaurants coming to their neck of the woods. Hurricane’s new building looks very vibrant and could be the next popular watering hole in west Wichita.
This island themed restaurant is best described as Cheeseburger in Paradise mixed with Buffalo Wild Wings. It’s already been documented here how terrible the service as Buffalo Wild Wings is so if Hurricane Sports Grill & Wings can get that down, that’s a step up on the competition already. They also plan to have more than 35 kinds of wings sauces, 20 beers on taps including some local craft beers, and a 1,000 square-foot patio.
