Vietnamese restaurant scheduled with a West side November opening

You may have heard there’s a fast-casual Vietnamese restaurant by the name of VietNom Nom. We wrote about them a while back and it looks like they will be opening soon.

VietNom Nom

I reached out to the owner Huyvu Nguyen and it looks like VietNom Nom, one of the restaurants to be featured at the new Tyler Pointe, is scheduled to open in November. They are finishing things up and should be ready to go in a month’s time.

Tyler Pointe is the new development at 13th and Tyler where Bagel Haus just opened up as well.

VietNom Nom will serve many popular Vietnamese dishes like spring rolls, banh mi, bun and pho. This will be a great addition to the area that has a major shortage of Vietnamese options.

To get ready for the opening, VietNom Nom has been having contests to name their menu items. You can check out their Facebook page for more on these contests. The winner of the best menu item name receives a VietNom Nom T-Shirt & one week of free food of your winning dish, and you will forever be enshrined in the VietNom Nom Hall of Fame.

The last contest they had featured spring rolls and the winning name was “Nom Chucks”. I loved that name so much and wish I had that much creativity to come up with it.

While we await their opening, you can also view their menu and pictures at their website. We will have more on VietNom Nom as their opening looms closer.

My west sider friends are always trying to find restaurants for me to come review with them out west. Well this is one I’d certainly drive out for.

Happy Dining,
Eddy
