Remember the old movie theater known as Northrock 14 at 3151 N. Penstemon Road located behind the 29th and Rock Wal-Mart? It used to be the best place to see a movie many moons ago.
It was announced earlier this year that AMC Theatres was going to take over and renovate the entire inside. That looks to be complete as their first day of business is set for Friday, March 30 which means it could really be a Good Friday for moviegoers.
Wichita finally gets some competition for Warren Theatres as the new AMC Theatres will include 14 screens, leather reclining seats, a full bar, and the rest of the goodies you all have grown to love. Unlike the Warren, every seat in the building is a leather recliner…..my nieces and nephews are going to love this as am I.
Ticket prices will be under $10 after 4pm and under $5 for showings before Noon. You reading this Warren Theatres???? What makes it even better is all seats are reserved seating. Also for those with the popular MoviePass subscription, it looks as that will be accepted at the Wichita location. Right now it looks as though AMC Theatres website doesn’t have the Wichita location listed yet so you may want to keep an eye on that if you’re wanting to check it out this Easter weekend.
Occidental Management Inc posted this YouTube video last month with a sneak peak of the inside.

Will they be supported by Movie Pass?
The website and the app do not show “everyone” yet the show times. I can see the show times on the AMC app for me. Full load of shows 30 March showing!
