For two years there’s been a “not so little” tea shop specializing in fresh, handmade fruit teas, boba drinks, smoothies and more. They take your orders and customize and combine flavors to your preference. It’s ICTea and the subject of our latest review.

At ICTea the main focus is their teas given their name. They have plenty of boba teas that can be flavored. They have plenty of different options of tapioca pearls that you are added to the bottom of your drink to provide texture. Their menu is loaded with different types of green teas, smoothies, slushies, coffees, chai teas, milk teas, and a limited amount of snack foods like chicken wings and egg rolls. Once you order a drink, you can customize it by adding different toppings.
My friends and I have gone multiple times and have always ordered an assortment of different beverages. We’ve ordered their coffees, teas, and bobas and have always been very happy with our drinks. The quality is great and the speed to get our drinks is never slow. The selection of drinks is so vast that there is literally something for everybody. We occasionally stop by after lunch to get a dessert beverage to finish the rest of our work day.
If you don’t want a beverage, we would highly recommend Taiwanese shaved ice also known as baobing. It’s a dessert commonly found in China and Taiwan. It’s not your typical shaved ice. Furthermore, it contains a large mound of ice shaving with various toppings you choose on top of it. The texture is ten times softer than many shaved ice places commonly found here in the states.
Below are some pictures of mango baobing topped with strawberries, which is one of the more popular types of shaved ice. Seriously, if you’ve never tried it before, it’ll change your whole outlook on shaved ice. If you’re a west-sider, you can also get it at PokeMix.
ICTea is very clean, and the service is always outstanding. The staff is well-trained and really knows their stuff.
Most times these types of drinks can only be found at Asian restaurants around town, so it’s nice to have another place where we can order them on the go since boba options are pretty limited in northeast Wichita.
