The first of many new 2018 chicken restaurants in town will open their doors on Wednesday, June 20. Cowboy Chicken announced the news through their Facebook page.
We had our northeast beat reporter, Chad, out in the area who was able to snap some pictures of the new location which is still under construction. He said it looks close to complete.
The 3,200 square feet location is at 3130 N. Rock Road to the north of the PepperJax Grill in the same strip. They specialize in wood fire rotisserie chicken. It’s all hormone-free and GMO-free chicken that is never frozen. More than half of their menu is also gluten-free.
If you’ve been following their Facebook page, they’ve been publishing events out and the first one takes place on June 20. Here’s the event description and the menu that was posted with the event description:
“We’re taking our guests back to 1981 – the year Cowboy Chicken first opened – with a special menu honoring 1981 pricing on select items. Dine-in only.”
Cowboy Chicken will be open daily from 11am to 9pm and has dine-in, carry out, catering and delivery options.
We will certainly be giving them a try when they open and report back with more. Stay tuned.
Happy Dining,
Eddy
