One of the popular west side restaurants is finally looking at expanding to a second location out east. After a successful first year, I spoke to their owners and they mentioned that east-siders can finally be excited. I, for one, can’t wait as it’s a breath of fresh air to have something open up out east that finally isn’t just about chicken.
They haven’t commented on where they are looking but have assured me they are making progress.
While Poke Mix has expansion plans in their future, there are more changes coming. If you haven’t heard, they now have such proteins as shrimp, tofu, and steak available at the west side (8918 W 21st St N) location. Delivery is also available thru UberEats. But as for future changes, Poke Mix will be adding a kids menu and catering in the near future. You can bet I’ll be bringing the kids out there once the new kids menu comes out to get their thoughts.
