Coming soon to Revolutsia, the shipping container mall at 2721 E Central, is a little establishment specializing in charcuterie, cheese, and crudité boards. They are called Boards.
Their website, Boardswichita.com, is now taking orders in preparation for their opening taking place Saturday, October 6. Those people looking for beautifully created charcuterie platters of meats, cheeses and vegetables now have another viable option in town. There are also vegetarian and vegan boards. Right now they are starting off as a catering style company so orders have to be placed ahead of time. They are asking for a week’s notice.
All of their boards include as many local ingredients as possible and their packaging and utensils are all biodegradable. After browsing around the website, the prices are:
Charcuterie & Cheese: $55 – $295
Crudité: $40 – $205
Fruit & Cheese: $55 – $295
Prices vary depending on whether you order a small, medium or large board and with or without crackers. The small board serves 6+ people, medium serves 15+ and the large serves 30+. You can read more on that here.
