When it comes to pho restaurants out west, there just aren’t as many on that side of town compared to other areas. So we stopped out to Charng-An to give their pho a try. What we found was something worthwhile and perhaps even a return visit to!

Our visit of three people all ordered pho. We tried different bowls with different meats inside. It took around eight minutes to get our food which was about average with what you’ll find at many Vietnamese restaurants if not sooner.
The pho was VERY rich in regards to the broth. It had a huge hint of star anise that one couldn’t forget. It was delicious but as we said, richer than we have been used to. They also don’t skimp on the onions either which for me was bad but good for others. Overall we enjoyed it more than we disliked it. It certainly wasn’t the best in town but worthy of being considered one of the top offerings out west.
The service there was also fantastic. The lady serving us was very friendly and accommodating.
Charng-An also has a huge Chinese menu which encompasses much of what they offer. I’ve been there for it and to be honest, it didn’t really stand out.
