Fuzzy’s Taco Shop to open a second location on the Wichita State campus

Braeburn Square

When Fuzzy’s Taco Shop first announced plans to Wichita, they mentioned there would be a possibility of 2-3 locations in town.

Fast forward to a couple of weeks ago, I was at a meeting at Wichita State and one of their execs mentioned there would be some big news coming in the way of Braeburn Square which is the new retail complex at the Wichita State University campus.

Braeburn Square currently houses Starbucks, the Shocker Store, and Meritrust Credit Union. It’ll soon be time to add a fourth establishment to that list.

Fuzzy’s Taco Shop recently announced plans to open their second Wichita location at Braeburn Square. It will be 4,200 square feet with seating for roughly 180 people along with a huge patio. This restaurant will also have a bar and ample TVs around the walls. They plan to be open by the summer of 2019.

This could be the perfect establishment for students on campus. There have been a ton of changes to Wichita State since I graduated but they have all been for the better.

And if you’ve never been to Braeburn Square, there is a great ‘Sip and See‘ event located there tonight (9/28) from 6:30 – 9:30 pm with food trucks, live music and your free opportunity to just check out the place.

Happy Dining,
Eddy
