Sip ‘N’ Treats opened up last weekend. My cousin gave me the heads up so we all made a couple stops this week to try our hand at their different drink offerings.

The core of their menu is the drinks. They have all sorts of Italian sodas to choose from. You can also create your own from their fountain drink options and different syrup and puree additions. For instance, you can order a Dr. Pepper with fresh lime and coconut or Sprite with watermelon, strawberry and grape. The options are endless.

The hot seller will likely be the kid’s drinks. They are the fountain drinks with different syrups then topped with whipped cream and such treats as gummy bears or marshmallows.

We ordered many different preset options from the kid’s drink menu like Jade’s Pool Party, Melon Patch, Cosmic Unicorn, Sunflower and Dino-Mite. We also tried some of the Italian sodas like the White Tiger. Most drinks ranged from $2.50 – $3.25.

It was no surprise that the kids LOVED the drinks. We went two days in a row and they had no complaints. They really loved Jade’s Pool which consisted of Sprite with blue raspberry and sour patch kids. My personal favorite was Sunflower which was Sprite with blue raspberry, strawberry, whipped cream and flower gummies.

All the drinks were delicious and refreshing. It’s too bad they weren’t opened earlier in the summer. We could see ourselves going here many times.

The treats cost no more than what one would spend on ice cream or shaved ice around town. Our only complaint was many of our drink orders didn’t really come out looking like the pictures on the menu. Perhaps it was because of the young staff still trying to get the processes down. Needless to say, we will certainly be going back. I doubt the kids would be upset going a third time.

Happy Dining,
Eddy
