Green Olive serves Mediterranean food. They also have a brick oven and serve Mediterranean pizza. You’ll be able to find the menu at the end of this blog.
On our visit there, we ordered the Sefiha Pizza (a blend of lean ground beef, spices, diced onions and diced tomato) along with a Combo Plate (a combination of chicken, beef, kafta kabbob, and two falafel). The combo plate also comes with fattoush salad and hummus.
We had one major complaint at Green Olive as their pita bread was very inconsistent. There were pieces that were soft and fluffy while most of it was either crispy or rock hard. I ended up having to use the pizza crust for the hummus. As for the actual pizza, it wasn’t half bad. The crust was enjoyable; evenly cooked with a nice crisp.
The combo plate was the better of the two options. There was a lot going on to it; the portion size was excellent. The salad and the hummus were both delicious. The rest of it was decent but didn’t wow us by any means.
The service was very friendly but also a little on the slower side at the same time. The gentleman serving us seemed to be preoccupied with other things.
Green Olive is one of those places we really wanted to like but just left with an OK feeling. Upon leaving, I read the reviews and they seemed very positive so it was kind of upsetting that our experiences didn’t match many others.
