Some of you may have heard of Mama Nith’s. They’ve had little pop-up dinners all over town. They have been very popular at both Emerson Biggins downtown and at the Laos Temple. I know the pop-up dinners at the Laos Temple draws BIG crowds.
Over the years they’ve gained a big following and are now ready to open up their own restaurant. Mama Nith’s Crawfish is set to open at 604 S. Topeka. They have a tentative opening date of Saturday, November 17 at 11am according to a new Facebook event they’ve set up. Here’s what is listed on their event invite.
Come out and help us celebrate our special day!
There will be live music, contests, free food giveaway, merchandises, and music by Smooth T!Also, we will have our new merchandise available!
Lots of fun!!
Fun fact: this is also our 11th wedding anniversary! Extra special day for us!! Can’t wait to see you all there.
Mama Nith’s Crawfish will serve all sorts of Cajun seafood dishes. They’ll have shrimp, crabs, lobsters, clams, and of course their ever popular crawfish. Houston, TX is a hotbed for Viet-Cajun crawfish and they are ready to popularize that here in Wichita where there’s already a big Vietnamese community. I, for one, am very excited! I saw they recently asked if people would be interested in crawfish pho, I about passed out.
We’ll be sure to have a followup when they open. In the meantime, we’ve added Mama Nith’s Crawfish to our directory of restaurants. There we have a big listing of opened, closed and restaurants coming soon.
Happy Dining,
Eddy
