Fall brings back many great things like college basketball season, cooler weather and, of course, the McRib.
McDonald’s announced their uber popular McRib is back for a limited time at more than 9,000 nationwide locations. Thanks to my sister-in-law for giving me the heads up.
The sandwich featuring seasoned boneless pork, barbecue sauce, onions and pickles on a hoagie-style bun and some possibly some sort of unknown drug that keeps me addicted was last seen in Wichita last November. The McRib is officially back on October 29th but is already available at certain locations around town. Reports of this elusive sandwich have spotted them on south West street and the McDonald’s at Seneca and Douglas. The best way to confirm which locations are serving it is to download the McDonald’s app and make an online order at locations. If they have the McRib, it’ll appear on their menu. If you don’t want to use the app, you can either wait until the 29th or drive around to McDonald’s and try to find one.
The McRib runs $3.39 for the sandwich or $5.59 for the extra value meal.
I purchased my first of many McRibs tonight it was like falling in love all over again. I know this isn’t the healthiest or most appealing sandwich but I really don’t care. When it comes to guilty pleasures, nothing beats out the McRib for me.
Happy Dining,
Eddy
