After reports of Philly’s Inc closing and the lingering questions about what happened to T.O.P.S. Steaks and Hoagies: A Taste of Philadelphia, we finally have an update on the story.
I received a tip that T.O.P.S. was back in business. After receiving the good news, I figured it’d be a good dinner stop. Upon arriving, I was met with the same bad news that they were indeed still closed.
There was a group of men working in and out of the building. I managed to talk to one of the employees who was inside and he told me they were renovating the restaurant. He confirmed to me that while they were still closed that they are aiming to reopen the second week of January.
So for those people upset by the news of all the local Philly cheese steak restaurants closing, there’s a bit of hope for 2019! Stay tuned.
