The Italian restaurant in Mulvane, Luciano’s, made the following Facebook post this afternoon as their show of support for those in the community who have been affected by the shutdown:
If you are a federal government employee who has been furloughed (we are not sure who has been impacted locally), we will feed you and your children once a day for free – no tips necessary. It will be a fresh plate of pasta with healthy ingredients while supplies last daily. Must be dine in only. Please call if you can, to tell us you’re coming so we can save some for you. #communitycounts #stickingtogether #payitforward
That’s right another local business coming out to help the community. They aren’t just helping the one person affected but the children too. They aren’t even asking for tips, just that you call ahead to give them a heads up and to dine-in. They’re also doing this not just once but once a day. Huge round of applause to them.
Just a great show of support from not just Wichita businesses but Mulvane ones as well.
