Wichita is now down one entertainment option.
XTreme Racing & Entertainment, located in Brittany Center, is officially closed indefinitely. The G0-Kart track which opened in 2017 quietly went away to start the new year. They have since taken down their Facebook page. Any unused races or gift cards will not be refunded. You can redeem either of those items at their Tulsa location.
They also recently updated their webpage with the following statement:
THE BRITTANY CENTER IS UNDER NEW OWNERSHIP AND BIG THINGS ARE IN STORE FOR THE CENTER. XTREME IS NOT A PART OF THE NEW STRATEGY. ALL UNUSED RACES OR GIFT CARDS CAN BE REDEEMED AT OUR TULSA LOCATION. QUESTIONS SHOULD BE DIRECTED TO GETXTREME@XTREMEWICHITA.COM. EMAIL WILL BE MONITORED UNTIL JANUARY 31ST.
It will now be interesting what ends up going inside the 55,000-square-foot former Hobby Lobby and XTreme Racing & Entertainment space. Brittany Center now has two big voids to fill; that and the former Tanners location recently held by Emerson Biggins.
