Have you ever been to Manny’s Mexi-Kan Kitchen? They were a food truck that would regularly park out in Derby, KS. I have some bad news if you were a fan of their food. The truck is now closed.
Manny’s Mexi-Kan Kitchen officially opened a brick-and-mortar location at McConnell Air Force Base on Friday. They have taken over the former Burger King at the base. With the restaurant opening, they have decided to stop operating the truck and focus on the McConnell location.
They did announce one of their goals is to eventually open a restaurant in Derby so they could continue feeding the fan base that supported them throughout their time there.
For those able to get on base, their hours will be Monday through Friday 6:30am to 6pm, 11am to 4pm on Saturdays and closed on Sunday. They will still do catering as well which will be available to the general public.
This is certainly a huge upgrade in food over Burger King for our men and women who serve our country.
Here’s their menu:
Happy Dining,
Eddy
