#NewEatsICT – The “Try Two New Restaurants a Month” Challenge

Try Two New Restaurants a Month Challenge

March is now upon us and it was very cool to see so many people post pictures, reviews and feedback on all the new restaurants they tried in our monthly challenge to all diners in town. Try Two New Restaurants a Month or #NewEatsICT.

This challenge is something I hope more and more people will give an honest chance. How hard would it be to try just two new restaurants a month for the rest of the year? That’s easily achievable and you’ll learn so much doing it. If you want to take it another step, ask for whatever the server recommends and go with that.

I’ve compiled a list of 405 restaurants in the Wichita area you can download here: Wichita By EB Restaurant Challenge. It’s a 3-page PDF document that includes some national chains and hundreds of local restaurants. The list is wide open to all restaurants. It’s vast to let you decide for yourself with no pressure or bias. It’s only right you go into each place with an open mind. Ignore what food critics, myself, Yelp, whoever has to say and make a conclusion for yourself.

For those on Facebook, I invite you then to join the Wichita By E.B. Foodies Discussion Group and share what two places you’ve gone to and your thoughts. Take pictures, take notes and pass on those experiences to others. Once you’re done, challenge someone else. The best way to help the restaurant community in Wichita is word of mouth. Tag your pictures with the hashtag #NewEatsICT on social media.

Venture out, eat deliciousness, and spread the good word of food.

Good Luck and Happy Dining,
