Starlite Drive-In re-opening with a soft launch Friday

The constant back and forth and whether the Starlite Drive-In would ever come to fruition comes to an end Friday night.

To the surprise of many, the owner announced on Facebook that the Starlite Drive-In would reopen on Friday evening.

Admission will be $7 for ages 12 and up, $3 for ages 3-11, and 2 and under are always free.

Screen 1 starts at 7:30pm and will show How to Train Your Dragon and Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. Screen 2 starts at 7:35pm and will show Green Book and The Upside.

There will be a reduced menu of popcorn and candy. And thanks to the city’s help, there will be new projectors. Lastly, don’t forget to bring a blanket. It’s going to be a cold one.

For everybody who clamored for the return, I really hope you go and support them. It’s been over a decade since my last visit there but I’ll certainly be making a visit as I’m excited to see if any other changes were made.

Happy Dining,
Eddy
