We have another Missing Owners report to make. Thanks to the folks at the Wichita By E.B. Foodies Discussion Group, it appears that Sweet Basil has made the list.
After talks of their demise, it appears as their phone number has been disconnected and their website has been taken down. The Italian restaurant on north Woodlawn which closed after a fire in 2014 and returned a year later was popular for it’s nap-inducing lunch buffets. While posters mentioned they were open just a few weeks ago, it looks like things may have changed for the worst.
On behalf of the Wichita food community, I’d like to file this missing owners report for Sweet Basil. Any news of their whereabouts would gladly be appreciated.
