2117 E Central Ave has been home to a few restaurants now. It’s been Antojitos Salvadoreno, El Pollo Dorado, Restaurant Nicatropical and most recently Restaurante Delicias Authentic Mexican Food.
Restaurante Delicias Authentic Mexican Food quietly closed down without much fanfare. There’s a new restaurant already in the works to take its place. It’s called Restaurant Playa Del Carmen. I spoke to the owner this afternoon and like one of it’s predecessors, they will be serving pupusas, tacos, taquitos and other similar dishes.
They are currently on goal to meet their May 1st opening date but like any schedule, that is tentative. At the moment, they have no social media presence but that is in the works.
I’ll have more as it gets closer to their opening.
In the meantime, you can find the current list of restaurants coming in our directory. Just filter the ‘In Business’ section by “Coming”. Hopefully it’s one of the more accurate list of restaurants and food trucks available in town.
