A fire broke out early Monday morning at Electric Pizzeria on 236 W. Greenway St in Derby. When firefighters arrived, they found heavy smoke coming from the roof vents in the building. They were not able to estimate the amount of damage done to the building but much of the damage was caused by smoke.
No cause for the fire has been found so far but in light of this, the pizzeria has closed down indefinitely with no timetable for return. They posted this on their Facebook page earlier today:
We apologize due to a fire we will no longer be open at 236 N Greenway. We hope you will join us at our west location 240 S West Street, facing Maple. We have no information about how long the store will be closed.
Fans of Electric Pizzeria can now stop by their Wichita location at Maple and West Street where their hours are 11am to 9pm daily except for Sunday when they close at 8pm.
