One of my favorite sub shops in town, Moe’s Sub Shop, closed down a while ago. Since then, there was a rumor floating around that someone was looking to re-open the sub shop.
Those rumors can now end as a different restaurant quietly opened inside the former Moe’s space.
Birrieria Tito is now open. Located at 2815 S Hydraulic, the new Mexican restaurant features many traditional favorites along with seafood, birria and menudo.
They are a cash only restaurant but didn’t have any hours listed. I drove by over the weekend to check them out but were closed. I peeped in the window and saw a small glimpse of a menu sitting on the table but wasn’t able to get much more information. If you ever stop by to try the restaurant, let me know in the comments below!
