What’s better than one Taco Fest? How about two?
After a tough first year in Wichita, they learned some hard lessons. Fortunately the feedback from the second year was much improved. The third installment of Wichita Taco Fest takes place August 3rd at Cowtown from 3pm – 9pm. Honestly, I’m pretty excited. Pre-sale tickets are currently available from their website: www.wichitatacofest.com.
But there’s more! They’ve recently expanded and now have KC Taco Fest which is coming up Saturday, July 13th at Crossroads KC.
It’s the first annual event and will be run similarly to Wichita’s version! Here’s the basic rundown.

•Best Taco Competition – Competition amongst participating food vendors to determine the vendor with Kansas City’s best Taco. (Judges Choice: 1st place & 2nd place)
•Best Salsa Competition – Competition amongst participating food vendors to determine the vendor with Kansas City’s best Salsa. (Judges Choice: 1st place & 2nd place)
•Jalapeno Eating Competition – An exciting competition amongst select attendees to determine who can consume the most Jalapenos in a given amount of time.
