The hits keep on coming for restaurants in Wichita. Bionic Burger announced this morning via Facebook they have decided to close their 21st and Woodlawn location after 9½ years. They still have four other locations around Wichita and Haysville.
The 21st and Woodlawn location will always hold a special place in my heart…. literally and figuratively. That was the location I tried and failed at the Triple Six Million Dollar Burger Challenge – the challenge to eat a 2 and a quarter pound hamburger and a pound a fries in 15 minutes. I failed miserably but had fun doing it even though I was in a lot of pain afterwards.
