Thai Riffic Food Truck
ABOUT THE OWNER
I was born and raised in Thailand. I immigrated to the United States in 2002. My sister, in Thailand, had a restaurant and I used to help her. That experienced made me want to have my own restaurant to serve people. In 2007 while stationed in Germany with my husband, I took a Thai culinary course offered in Luxembourg. In 2008 I moved to Derby Kansas. When I went to Thai restaurants in the USA, I found that some of the restaurants were not actually owned by Thais and didn’t have the authentic Thai food

My first attempt was in 2013, I opened my first restaurant that I named Thai Riffic Cuisine on Rock Road in Wichita. But I sold it in 2015. I then had a job at Episcopal Social Services as a Kitchen Co-ordinator. As cooking was always my passion, and the idea of serving Authentic Thai taste always on my mind then Thai Riffic Food Truck happened in November 2018.
