ABOUT THE OWNER
I was born and raised in Thailand. I immigrated to the United States in 2002. My sister, in Thailand, had a restaurant and I used to help her. That experienced made me want to have my own restaurant to serve people. In 2007 while stationed in Germany with my husband, I took a Thai culinary course offered in Luxembourg. In 2008 I moved to Derby Kansas. When I went to Thai restaurants in the USA, I found that some of the restaurants were not actually owned by Thais and didn’t have the authentic Thai food
taste. This really made me feel that it was the right time and place to open a Thai restaurant of my own. My first attempt was in 2013, I opened my first restaurant that I named Thai Riffic Cuisine on Rock Road in Wichita. But I sold it in 2015. I then had a job at Episcopal Social Services as a Kitchen Co-ordinator. As cooking was always my passion, and the idea of serving Authentic Thai taste always on my mind then Thai Riffic Food Truck happened in November 2018.

ABOUT THE BUSINESS
The concept of Thai Riffic Food Truck is Homemade Style Thai Cuisine. How I cook at
home is how I serve to people. The main ingredients are the Thai products, that makes it authentic, including my specialty and techniques I use.

WHY I STARTED THE FOOD TRUCK
Being in Christ’s ministry, I wanted more time to serve God and wanted to serve people
authentic Thai food. So a mobile Thai Riffic food truck gave me time to do both. It’s
not only to make my business grow, but I hope customers will learn the culture, the
hospitality of Thai people and enjoy the real homemade food. The price is reasonable to
the portion.
