Wichita River Riders one of the possible names for Wichita’s Triple-A baseball team

So many news outlets are reporting that ‘The Wichita River Riders’ is the official new name for the our Triple-A baseball team.

That is not the case. The name and logo is just one of options that Wichita Baseball 2020 will be revealing. So before everybody overreacts on the name, let’s take pause and realize it’s not final.

I believe there will be a final vote once all names are revealed so after that happens, then we can overreact.
