The area of 21st and Greenwich should have a new restaurant before the end of the year. California Tortilla, a chain based out of Maryland, will be opening in the former Dickey’s Barbecue Pit space at the Village at Greenwich.
For those who have never been California Tortilla is a fast-casual restaurant that’s big on grass-fed beef, fresh ingredients and avoiding preservatives and additives when possible. Their menu consists of tacos, burritos, fajitas, quesadillas and salads. You can see a sample menu from a New Jersey location down below.
They were originally scheduled for a September/October opening but that looks to have been delayed a little. As always I’ll be sure to check them out when they open and up date you all when that date is announced.
