It appears a new chain is coming to Wichita. Sam’s Southern Eatery is a chain based out of Louisiana. They have over 70 locations throughout part of the south and Midwest.
They specialize in Southern cuisine. According to their website, “Offering high quality food, healthy eating options, and generous portions at competitive prices is what drives our success.”
Thanks to Jeremy over at Fert the Foodie on giving me the heads up. It looks as though they have social media advertisements going live announcing their impending arrival to Wichita.
They have a Facebook page you can now follow. No word yet on exactly where at they will open or when though.
Their menu seems to consist of Po’ boys, burgers, seafood, chicken and an assortment of other fried items. Their logo says they are “Home of the Jumbo Shrimp”. I’ve never been to a location before but will follow up as soon as more details are released. Stay tuned.
