I don’t live in a bubble. I like to keep tabs on what’s going on in Wichita. I’m not writing this at all because anybody at the Wichita Eagle contacted me to but simply because I see so many comments on Eagle’s Facebook page about being unable to read because of the paywall. And there have been reports, it’s blocked on incognito mode but I can’t verify that because I don’t do that anymore.
All of that can be annoying, I totally agree. So if you’re going to follow the Wichita Eagle and see their updates why not just get a subscription if I can help you save some money? I subscribe and read it all. I keep tabs on Taylor Eldridge’s stuff especially with Shocker basketball season starting this week. I see what Carrie Rengers has going on with new businesses. The Chance Swaim and Dion Lefler material has been quite noteworthy lately and yes, even I read Dining with Denise!
For my subscriptions, I’ve been using a Groupon deal that’s saved me quite a bit of money.
You can get a 52-week digital subscription for $40 or add Sunday delivery which is what I do for $43 and that includes a digital subscription. That’s cheaper than what many of the promos they advertise are. AND to make it even cheaper, if you can find a 10-20% off code, it’ll save you even more. I was able to get a year long subscription along with Sunday delivery for under $38. Quite a deal if you ask me.
