We announced last month that a new restaurant called Sam’s Southern Eatery was coming to Wichita. According to their website, the chain based out of Louisiana specializes in “Offering high quality food, healthy eating options, and generous portions at competitive prices is what drives our success.”
They have a Facebook page you can now follow and announced that they will be located on West Central Avenue. No word yet on exactly where though. I have no idea and if it was a guessing game, I would venture to say close to Central & Ridge area but that’s 100% all speculative.
Once they open possibly sometime in the next four months, this will be their 71st location.
The menu seems to consist of Po’ boys, burgers, seafood, chicken and an assortment of other fried items. Their logo says they are “Home of the Jumbo Shrimp”. I’ve never been to a location before but will follow up as soon as more details are released. Stay tuned.
