The restaurant had seating similar to a cafe. There were a bunch of 2-top and 4-top tables for diners to grab some pie and a drink.

When you walk in, the first thing you’ll see is a glass case featuring all the pies they have that day. Keep in mind, they will have a rotating menu of eight pies every quarter.

The pies they had on hand opening week were:

  • Brown Butter White Chocolate
  • Better Than Key Lime
  • German Chocolate
  • Brown Butter Pumpkin Streusel
  • Espresso Cream
  • Peppermint Mocha
  • Salted Dulce De Lechi Apple
  • Double Chocolate Pecan

There were also items like Pie Faits which are essentially parfaits, crookies and pie fries.

We ordered seven different pies along with the pie fries. I had the apple butter pie fries which were essentially pie crust sticks. They came with a caramel dipping sauce. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but they were really cold when they came out. I was thinking they’d be warm or at least room temperature but there were a noticeable chill to them. They were a slightly tougher than your traditional pie crust. Overall I was fairly let down by them but kept my hopes up for the pie.

….and the pies didn’t disappoint.

I went with the Brown Butter Pumpkin Streusel because of my addition to pumpkin flavored food. It was everything I hoped it would be and more. The crumbling topping offered a nice texture balance to the pumpkin. It was fresh, warm and exactly what I needed.

My friends all shared similar opinions with their pies. One friend loves all things key lime and was not shy to profess her love of how tart and delicious her pie was. She even made plans to order an entire pie for the holidays.

Another friend even ordered some to go. She also noted that the coffee was super delicious. Come to find out, it was supplied by Reverie.

We’ve already made plans to form our own wolfpack but instead a Pie-Pack to make return visits after lunch for pie. They were definitely worth the visit. Our next stop will include a crookie and a Pie Fait.

On top of that, the ladies working that afternoon were very nice and helpful. They did a great job under the stress of an opening day.

Here’s their menu:
