Free Wichita Snow Day coming December 27

I’m all for events that get people out of the house. It’s even better when it’s affordable or better yet free.

So mark your calendars for Friday, December 27 from 9am to 11am.

The Mid-America All-Indian Center, Wichita Parks & Recreation and Wichita Snow Bros are putting on Wichita Snow Day. The event is free to the public and open to children, adults or simply anybody who loves snow.

It takes place at the Mid-America All-Indian Center at 650 N Seneca.

Bring a nonmetal sled and enjoy playing in artificial snow provided by Snow Bros Snowmakers. Dunkin will also be on hand providing free coffee and hot chocolate while supplies last. Of course the event is subject to change depending on Wichita’s wonky ever-changing weather conditions but for now it’s December 27.

Adult supervision is needed for children under 10.
