The highly anticipated restaurant that opened in July of 2019, Coney Island Hot Weiners, appears to have closed down.
As of today, their Facebook page and webpage were both taken down. Phone calls were also left unanswered. A reader also sent in a picture of a ‘Writ of Restitution’ from the Sedgwick County District Court placed on their doors which were locked.
The restaurant located at 1001 W. Douglas Ave opened as part of a Tulsa chain last summer. They focused on coneys, chili, and hot dogs. Many reviews and comments were generally mixed on the restaurant.
If you had plans to stop by the restaurant this weekend, you’ll probably want to make an audible and go elsewhere. Will update as more information becomes available.
