It’s time to make another suggestion or an item worth trying in Wichita. This one takes you to Westway Marketplace where you’ll find Ricos Elote Y Mas tucked away in the southwest corner of the building. They have a location inside Towne East Mall and the owners also recently opened Vicky’s Restaurant but this is the original location and deserves some love. Let’s get on with the latest installment in the “Must Try Menu Item” feature.
Elote fans have to give this one a go: Elote Enchilado. Small is $3.50, Medium $5.00, and large is $6.00.
What makes this elote different is the mashed up takis which give it a little kick of hot chili pepper and lime.
Ricos Elote Y Mas already makes one of my favorite elotes in town. It wasn’t too creamy or soggy like some elote can be. It was a delicious mixture of flavors. While I’m a bigger fan of elote when it’s on the cob, this has always been a great alternative in cup form. The Elote Enchilado was like elote on steroids.
Most people don’t even know there’s a location inside Westway Marketplace so if you’re ever in the mood to shop at a flea market, why not stop by Rico’s Elote Y Mas and get yourself some elote?
