Bar trivia from the comfort of your own home

Do you miss going to bars and restaurants and participating in the trivia nights? Well one guy is offering the game for free through his Facebook feed and YOU can participate from the comfort of your own home.

Cody’s Got Games who has been hosting trivia nights at bars until the COVID-19 outbreak will offer a livestream Saturday night (3/28) this evening from his Facebook page. The game lobby opens at 7:30 and he will post the code for the lobby on his page at that time. The live stream will start at 7:45 and the game code will be visible there as well. Game will start at roughly 8pm.

This will be his first live stream show so he doesn’t know what to expect and will make some adjustments as he sees fit along with any feedback participants can provide.

To play, people need to download the Trivnow (players) app on your Apple device, it has a microphone symbol with rainbow background or your Android device. Then, they can tune in to his live feed by going to fb.com/codysgotgames.

He suggest players use one device for the trivia app and another to watch the stream because the anti cheating software might flag them if they are switching screens.

Definitely a fun unique experience in town worth trying.

Please note, there are no prizes. He’s doing is strictly for fun, free and to keep spirits up. Should there be enough interest, he hopes to continue this weekly online.
